On 12/19/2009 at approximately 7:15pm the Millville
Fire Department received an all call for a dwelling
fire at 391 Crest Ave reported with smoke showing.

Station 30 responded with 30-01, 30-04, 30-16, 30-21,
30-31, 30-33, 30-36, and 30-52 with over 20 firefighters.

The call was received during near blizzard conditions
from a winter storm that dropped over twenty-three
inches of snow in the city of Millville.

30-31 arrived on location with smoke showing from the
second floor.

Once 30-01 arrived on location the front door was forced and an initial attack line was stretched into the residence.
The fire had spread quickly within the residence and 30-31 requested a second alarm thirty minutes into the call.

South Vineland Station 2 responded to the second alarm as a RIT team.
The interior of the residence suffered extensive fire, water, and smoke damage on the first, second, and attic levels.

Station 30 units returned approximately 3 hours after the call went out.  No injuries occurred on location.
