On 01/11/2010 at approximately 2:40am the Millville
Fire Department received an all call for a commercial
structure fire at Loyle Lanes Bowling Alley reported
a working fire.

Station 30 initially responded after Vineland FD requested
the second alarm be struck. Station 30 responded with
30-01, 30-16, 30-31, 30-32,  and 30-35 with over 10
firefighters.

At approximately 3:48am command requested a third
alarm which brought in a Tender task force. Additional
volunteers from station 30 responded to the scene with
30-03.

The rapid spread of the fire and the construction of the building kept all operations exterior for several hours.

Command placed the fire under control over three hours after the initial dispatch.

The interior of the structure suffered extensive fire, water, and smoke damage. The entire roof collapsed along with
part of the back wall.

Station 30 units returned approximately 5 hours after the call went out.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
