June 27 members of the Millville
Fire Department delivered a check in the amount of $2,800 to Ladder Company 24 and Engine Company
1
of New York City Fire Department. The money will be placed in their "House
Fund", a memorial endowment benefiting the family of members who die in the line of duty.

The funds were raised by selling
commemorative T-shirts honoring the Firefighters and Police Officers
killed during the 9-11 terrorist attacks.

attacks this house lost the following members*
In addition to the above Firefighters, NYFD's Chaplain's church is
located across the Street from the Engine 1, Ladder 24
firehouse. He often ate across the street in the
firehouse.
