9-11 Memorial In Las Vegas

While in Las Vegas on business a member of the
Millville Fire Department happened onto an impromptu 9-11 memorial honoring
Firefighters, Police and Rescue personnel who suffered
or died during the attacks. The heartfelt memorial is located at the
feet of Lady Liberty at The New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas,
Nevada. |

The spontaneous memorial began with Firefighters,
Police and Rescue workers draping
Department shirts with messages on them over the fence surrounding the
"harbor". |
|
|
|
|
Shirts adorn the fence as the memorial spans more than 200 feet. The base
of the Statue of Liberty can been see in the background. |
|
|

There are perhaps thousands of shirts, patches and
other items left behind creating a memorial
that is still growing. |
