Mitchell recently completed the new Fire Officer one class at
Cumberland County Training Center.
Fire
on South Second Street Contained To One Room
11/29/2003 - A second floor fire
occurred in a home in the 600 block on South Second
Street. Firefighters were successful in quickly knocking
down the fire and restricting the damage to one room.
The cause of the fire
appeared to be a lit candle that was left unattended by the
occupant.
