On 02/09/2010 at approximately 11:00pm the Millville
Fire Department received an all call for a dwelling
fire at 430 N. Third St. reported working fire.

Station 30 responded with 30-01, 30-02, 30-04, 30-16,
30-21, 30-31, 30-33, and 30-35 with over 20 firefighters.

The call was received during near blizzard conditions
just three days after a blizzard slammed Millville dropping
over twenty inches of snow.

Millville Firefighters arrived on location to heavy fire and
smoke showing from the dwelling.

Upon arrival command requested the second alarm be struck due to the severity of the fire. The fire had spread quickly within the residence and the second alarm was sent out eight minutes into the call.

South Vineland Station 2 responded to the second alarm as a RIT team.
The interior of the residence suffered extensive fire, water, and smoke damage.

Laurel Lake Station 13 manned Millville's station on standby should another call go out in the city.

Station 30 units returned approximately 3 hours after the call went out.  No injuries occurred on location.
