Front Line Apparatus
On March 14 1999 the new Engine 30 was housed,  A 1998 Spartan Luverne, 1,750 GPM pump, with a 1,000-gallon tank.  Engine 30 is dedicated to George Schock, Jr. Chief 1976 - 1981.

In April of 2003 Ladder 32 was placed in service.  2002 Seagrave, 75 foot "Mean Stick".  2,000 GPM fire pump with a 500-gallon capacity water tank and a six-man cab.  Ladder 32 is dedicated to Carlton "Tate" Reeves - Chief 1964 - 1976.
   
On May 4, 1997 Ladder 35 an LTI ladder-pumper was housed.  It has a 110 foot aerial, 2,000 GPM pump and a 500-gallon tank.

2005 Seagrave EVI rescue with a ten man cab the truck carries hand and power Tools for all types of rescue incidents including motor vehicle accidents confined space/ high angle rescue and trench rescue.  It is also equipped as a firefighter rehab unit with an awning to provide shelter from the weather. the truck was dedicated to Capt. Max Wallen and housed on October 21, 2005
   
May 19, 1991 the company housed Engine 35.  A 1990 American La France pumper, 1,250 GPM pump, with a 750-gallon tank, dedicated to Fire Chief Gary Wallen.

In 1992, the department re-furbished its rescue truck (Rescue 33) and dedicated it to Captain Max Wallen, who had been instrumental in obtaining the department's first rescue truck in the early 1950's. Captain Wallen had served with the department for more than 60 years and had been dedicated to fire service training. In October 1996, a year after his passing, the burn building at the Cumberland County Fire Training Center was dedicated in his honor.  
   
Engine 36 - 1985 American LaFrance pumper.  1,500 GPM pump, 750-gallon tank.   Engine 36 is dedicated to Thomas Corson - Chief 1928 - 1952.

Brush 38 - 1985 Ford.  250 GPM slide-in pump with 250-gallon tank.   Brush 38 dedicated to George Reeves - Chief 1981 - 1982 and he also served as Treasurer of the fire company for over 40 years.
   
Engine 37 - 1985 Ford pumper. 1,000 GPM pump, 750-gallon tank. Engine 37 is dedicated to John "Jack" Durfee Career Firefighter 1965 - 1987, and he also served as Deputy Chief during his career.  Jack died in the line of duty.

The department maintains it's apparatus history with a 1925 American LaFrance pumper, affectionately known as Phoebe, recently refurbished into mint condition.

In addition to Phoebe the company has 2 operational Mason hand pumpers built in 1795 and 1798 respectively.  One of which is pictured here.  handpump.JPG (23398 bytes)
